Many retailers have specific months or sales days when items are discounted more than at other times of the year, whether it’s furniture, linens, home tech, or kitchenware. Furniture also sees lower prices during holiday sales, especially on long weekends like July 4 and President’s Day, as well as online sales days like Prime Day (July) and Way Day (May). Kitchen Appliances: House 9 Interiors. Kitchen appliance prices can be in the four to even five-digit range, so it’s always a relief when you can get a deal. For larger appliances like dishwashers, fridges, and stoves, the lowest prices appear in October and November when new models hit the market and old items need to be cleared out. Smaller appliances like air fryers and toasters are most steeply discounted on sales days like Prime Day or Black Friday, as well as at the end of the year. Cookware: Good cookware feels special, which is why it’s often discounted during gifting seasons. In November, cookware sees some of its most affordable prices thanks to the upcoming holiday season. Outdoor Furniture Discounts Outdoor furniture is highly sought after during the summer season, which is why the best discounts are typically seen after the season ends. Lighter sales begin in early August, with discounts increasing as the month progresses. This makes it an ideal time to purchase your favorite patio pieces for the following year. Labor Day also offers significant outdoor furniture sales as it marks the end of summer. Mattress Savings Mattresses are a significant investment, and saving on them feels great. The best sales for mattresses occur during March and April when retailers aim to clear out older models to make way for new ones. Holiday weekends are also common times for mattress markdowns. Home Tech Deals Cyber Monday, the Monday following Thanksgiving in late November or early December, is the perfect time to find deals on smart TVs, speakers, security cameras, and other home tech.
