Okay so my niece is obsessed with slime. Like it's a problem. She has a whole drawer of it in every color imaginable. So when I saw this ice cream slime, I figured it'd just be another one for the collection.
I was not prepared for how good this thing looks.
It comes in this little cup that looks exactly like a mini ice cream cup. The slime itself is creamy and soft and honestly it looks good enough to eat. Don't eat it. I'm just saying it looks like it.
The texture is where this thing really shines. It's stretchy. It's soft. It doesn't stick to your hands the way some cheap slimes do. It holds its shape when you squeeze it but it's not stiff. I watched my niece play with this for an hour. An hour. That's like five years in kid time.
She shaped it into a little ice cream scoop and pretended to serve it to her stuffed animals. Then she squished it. Then she stretched it. Then she started all over again. I honestly could have watched her for another hour.
The colors are also perfect. It looks like real ice cream. It's fun and playful and makes me feel like a kid again just looking at it. I don't even like slime and I ended up playing with it when she wasn't looking.
If you have a kid who loves slime, or if you just need something to keep little hands busy, this is a good one. It's cute. It's fun. And it won't make a mess all over your table.
