I thought I was doing a nice thing. Bought this little toy that zooms across the floor so my indoor cat could get some exercise. She's been cooped up all summer and I felt guilty. You know the drill.

What I didn't expect was the obsession.

The thing moves. It runs. It doesn't stop. And my cat? She CANNOT let it go. She stalks it. She pounces on it. She chases it across the whole apartment like her life depends on it. I've never seen her this active.

She's usually a couch potato. Sleeps 18 hours a day. Glances at toys like they're beneath her. But this running toy? Something about the way it moves triggers her hunt mode. She's fully locked in.

The funniest part is when it's running away from her. She does this little crouch thing and then SPRINTS after it. I literally laugh out loud every time. She's been running laps around my living room for 20 minutes straight and I'm just sitting on the couch watching like it's a sport.

She hasn't scratched my couch since I got this. She hasn't whined at the door. She just chases this thing until she's completely worn out and then she naps for like three hours. Best money I ever spent.

But I will warn you: "HELP ME" runs through my head every time I see her chase it because I genuinely can't get her to stop. Do I want her to stop? No. It's hilarious.

If your cat is also a menace or just needs something to do, this one's a winner. It's fun to watch. It'll tire them out. And honestly it's way more entertaining than anything on my phone right now.
